Diabetes is a metabolic illness that causes high blood sugar. From the blood cells, the hormone insulin carries sugars to be stowed or utilized for energy. Once an individual has diabetes, the body lacks enough insulin or fails to use the insulin it makes effectively. The illness transpires when the immune system attacks and rescinds the pancreas’ insulin-producing beta cells (Rosella et al., 2016). However, it is also initiated by genes and ecological aspects such as the viruses that can trigger it to occur. Diabetes is the utmost public health and health system challenges of the 21st era.
