Each student will be assigned to complete two case studies throughout the course. See D2L document with Case Study assignment.
Case studies will be graded according to the following grading rubric:

1) Posting demonstrates application and synthesis* of material.
2) Posting is accurate and paraphrased in students own words,
3) Posting thoroughly addresses the case study question(s).
4) Textbook citation and reference is required (including page numbers) in APA format.
5) Attached Active Learning Template: Medication for the medication listed in case study to posting in D2L

Case Study # 1
Ramon is a 27-yaer-old financial analyst who has recently begun chemotherapy for treatment of Hodgkin’s lymphoma. He has tolerated the chemotherapy fairly well but has experienced mild, daily nausea with occasional vomiting, usually controlled with Kytril. His main concerns is the fatigue he experiences and the impact it has on his work. He also admits that he has been experiencing anorexia and “just doesn’t feel like eating much,” something which may be contributing to his fatigue. He has lost 2 kg since his last clinic visit two weeks ago.
