Hi Everyone,
I can’t believe the class is over, but I’m thankful for all I learned. While creating the business plan I learned quite about from prospective I never thought about. One of the key parts of my final project was deciding where my product would be manufactured. Apple currently manufactures most of their products in China, but due to possible imposing tariffs from our current presidential administration (Bloomberg, 2019). This caused me to research possible solutions to moving manufacturing to the US but knowing that this would greatly increase the cost to manufacture Apple’s products. This seems to be a dilemma that a lot of companies find themselves currently in.
Before I took this class I could never understand how companies justify using foreign labor, especially if it is less than ethical. This project made me realize how hard it is to change when the cost is so high. Now I still don’t full agree with this but the logical part of my brain struggled more with how hard it is to uproot and change your entire operation. I can now see from a purely business perspective why most companies do not change things until they absolutely have to. I still do not agree with how companies justify using non-ethical labor, I see how hard it is to change processes once you them going. Going forward I will take this prospective when working with people and dealing with issues that relate to labor and obstinance to changing process.
Thank you all for all of your post and insight during this course. Good luck to everyone in the rest of their classes.

Hi Everyone,
This course has been informative and I am pleased to say that I gained some valuable expertise I did not possess before the class. In the future, I plan on opening up a small construction company and I will be reconsidering some of my previous plans, after research! Because technology plays such a large role in our lives as consumers and that of our customers, it is important to consider being reachable and easily recognized online. I would likely hire a social media and marketing whiz to put my business on the map, as they say.
This project management plan has reminded me how capable I am and to not doubt my abilities. After all, I am at the completion of my MBA and I need to be more confident in my skill set. I look forward to completing my degree and would like to consider helping small, local businesses with some form of business consulting on the side!
Best of luck to everyone!
