When teaching the students about the ethical use of technology, teachers have the
responsibility of ensuring the students follow all the ethical considerations. This calls for the
teachers to explain the importance of ethical consideration (like copyright laws and the prevention
of cyberbullying) when using technology. It also includes the responsibility of educating them on
the consequences resulting from the violation of ethical rules.
Teachers encourage the appropriate use of technology at home by communicating regularly
with the parents about the student’s use of technology. Besides, parents’ leadership on the use of
technology is highly encouraged. Lastly, employing netiquette and ensuring students understand
and follow them in their daily activities, whether in school or at home. Besides, the positive use of
technology at home by the student should be recognized and appreciated.
This is highly related to the Professional Disposition of Learners as they will already be
ethical conscious. They will know what is right and wrong to do with the technology as they have
been taught both from home and school. Hence, taking precautions whenever using technology.

When introducing a new student in my future class that uses assistive technology, I will
introduce him as normal as other students. This will help build the student’s courage as he has not
been treated in a special way, which might cause discrimination. However, I will emphasize the
following concepts to the rest of the class. First is mutual respect. I will emphasize students to
respect each other properties and activities despite their differences. Through this, there will be a
promotion of unity among students.

Secondly is the use of positive language in all the scenarios. Positive talking should always
be used in class. This also includes the use of positive body language and mood when addressing
one another. The last concept to be emphasized is the consistency of the rules. This applies both
inside and outside the class. A heavy punishment will be upon those that go against the class and
the school rules. Though this concept, all the students in the class will feel valued and well taken
care of. Besides, they will help the class to understand one another, respect, and value them despite
the differences.
