Intro to Ethics Powerpoint Presentation
For this assignment you will analyze abortion from the perspective of Mill’s utilitarianism, Kant’s deontological ethic, and Aristotle’s virtue ethic. Conclude your presentation by defending one of these approaches. Your presentation should consist of 10-12 slides, including an introductory slide and a reference slide. If you absolutely cannot get the AUDIO files to work for you, you *may* instead write out “Speakers Notes” on your slides. This is what you *would say* if you were inserting audio files or presenting in person. Attached is a powerpoint on how the presentation should be formatted.

Use a slide design
and Be aware of your colors
Power Point presentations have many pre-designed slide designs/templates (like this one) that you can use! Click on the Design tab to get started or select something from online.
Generally, darker backgrounds are better, although a light or white background can be designed very well. White text on black (this presentation) is easier to read than black text on white . . . As long as you have good contrast, youll be okay.
For advanced users, you can use a photograph or even an online image for a slide design.
Speakers notes!
For academic presentations, it is important to consider Speakers Notes
which will appear to you the speaker at the bottom of the presentation,
but not to the audience in Slide Show mode.
Speakers notes appear here. It is important to have them for every slide for academic presentations. These do not have to be in full MLA or APA style, but they can appear here as notes, highlights, outlines, and anything that would appear helpful to the presenter. Normally, the presenter will have a page with each slide on it, as well as the notes on it, and will go through these as he/she progresses through the presentation.

Graphics/visual aids
Click on Insert and Pictures or another category! Creative Commons is good, and you can upload your own photos, etc. This image was found by going to Insert > Online Pictures > search Professor and selecting a Creative Commons licensed image. You can insert text boxes for different portions of your slide.
Narrated slides
One good way to accentuate your presentation is to narrate your slides with short audio clips that you make yourself. These should be 1 – 2 minutes long. Click on the audio image below and listen!
Much longer than one minute per slide will increase the size your file too much, and we can only upload a maximum file of 50 megabytes in Sakai.
Viewers can click on the audio image to listen in Slide Show mode! You can click on Insert and Audio to begin!
