FOX ENCHANTMENT
There are three main characters in this story; Dong, Wang and the fox. Fox enchantment is a story of two men who were warned about their fame by a physician and a fox who did a lot wrong in her life to mislead people and drove them to death. Both Dong and Weng, despite the warning they had received from the physician, get trapped by the beauty of the fox (as a girl) and do wrong. The story presents the greedy nature of man and how they fail to control their emotions without seeing the reality behind a beautiful face. Fox enchantment is a lesson story that tells us that evil deeds lead to adverse outcomes. Although Weng recovered from a health crisis and this is because he heard Dongs advice and burn those sticks, unlike Dong who for the sake of limited pleasure and happiness forgot the advice as well as his moral standard.
THE LAUGHING GIRL
This is the story of a laughing girl and a boy reluctantly seeking for a girl to whom he can marry. Wang is the boy who is looking for a beautiful girl to whom he can marry, from where the story started. Then at a fair, he found a girl of his choice who inspired Wang by her smile. The girl was 10 miles away from Wang that seems a long distance when to travel by foot. But as Wang start loving, that girl and want to marry her, he couldnt resist to approach her in all possible ways. Upon approaching the girl and bringing her back to meet with his family, all the truth of the beautiful girl has been exposed. Yingling was the daughter of a fox that leads his father to death and now trapped Wang by showing her beauty. That story again ended with the moral that things might not be the same inside as such these looks from outside.
LOTUS FRAGRANCE
This is another story of fox-spirit that trapped Sang by her beauty and fall him to make love. Here the story indulges with two girls who want to be praised by Sang. In the story, it is depicted that a man if wanted, can save himself from falling for fox and control himself from making love if they do not want to get ill and die. But whenever the fox appears Sang lost his control and pulled on the bed with her. In the story, the writer shows the strong influence of the fox spirit and the way they control men to fell them ill. At the start,Sang said he is not afraid of ghosts and fox-spirits, but later he caught prey of these two and lost his fantastic life. He was living a good life alone, but the entrance of fox and Li destroy everything.
