Hello class,
Being inexperienced and new to teaching can be frightening. This can be pertaining to any job. It is new and we do not know what to expect. In week one, we were presented with two scriptures and the one I chose was in the book of Jeremiah. According to the book Jeremiah 29:11, it stated For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.(Holy Bible, NIV)In other words, we have to keep those negative thoughts away. We need to stay positive, think positive, and the outcome of our fears can end well. Although we are nervous and possibly fearful, we have to remain positive in there trying times.
During week two we had two other scriptures, and I chose the on the book of Galatians. In the book of Galatians 6:9, it stated And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.(Holy Bible, NIV). It is telling the teachers that they should not fret or be fearful in the situations that are to come or that can happen. Dont stress over those ideas or those situations that are occurring. We will gain that credit, benefits, or successful outcome that we have been searching for soon. We have to be patient.
During week three, the scripture I chose was in the book of Philippians 4:6, it stated Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.(Holy Bible, NIV)This scripture is telling us as teachers that sometimes we have to take risks and have faith within our God, our prayer, and ourselves.
I am a new teacher.Testing is an important instrument used to ensure that our students are capable of grasping the information that we are teaching them(Popham, 2020).At this moment the only thing I fear is being incapable of teaching my students. I do not go a day without thinking of a way to better myself for them. My goal is to stay on top of my knowledge. If I do that and put forth the effort that is necessary, my students will be completely taken care of.

As an educator planning to provide for all students’ abilities is very imperative that we meet all the students needs, not just those with an IEP. Differentiated instruction is necessary for ALL general education classes as well as ALL students with an array of learning challenges. Students demonstrate various learning abilities academic levels and learning styles, which some lessons need to be tailored to meet the needs of all students. Differentiated instruction can help all students so that all students can learn effectively within the classroom. Therefore, deafferented instructions can create different level of expectations for task work completion, and emphasize or create an environment where all students can he successful. For instance, this school year 2020-2021 has been challenging. Although this can be very trying and frustration for teachers, especially an inexperience teacher, because it is something new differently then any school year we have everencounterbefore due to COVID- 19. A lot of us are having school virtually online. Teaching and learning is a big change for us all. Making the best out of remote learning while providing effective and engaging environment online.
In Jeremiah 29:11 says for I know the plans I have for youdeclarersthe Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and future. I sobelievein this and read it often. Every since I have relocated back home thing where challenging and now it seems as though things are falling into place for me. Galatians 6:9 says “Let us not become wary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. We as educators today are faced with some challenges this school year, like the way we have to teach online and make sure we meet the needs of all the students. We have to come together and work together because it is very new to us all. However, in due time we all will prosper and gain from this and reap a harvest.

We know not the plans which are for us. We simply must have faith and the knowledge that they are for our good. We are taught, all we need is faith the size of a mustard seed. As a future first-year teacher, I will have faith in my abilities, intentions, and purpose of becoming a teacher. I will also have faith in the plans God has for me. Over the years, I have learned how much children value people who listen, speak, and show they want the best for them even when they do not believe in themselves. I have always had a love for children, and they have always gravitated to me. I have always tried to guide, encourage, and teach them always to want and do the best for themselves. I have always strived to be an example for my students. I believe we have the power to speak life and empowerment into our children, and that is my goal in the classroom; to let students know it is okay, my fail, as long as you get back up and try again.
Galatians states, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up” (New International Version). So many times, I had wanted to give up, mostly when I was subbing. Because the students had been “running through” subs, they were unruly. I understood, but I did not want to deal with it. Part of the reason why stayed was that my son was one of those students who had lost their teacher. I just wanted them to have some stability away from the revolving door of substitutes.
Because I could remain with those students, I feel it has prepared me more for becoming a teacher. I was able to grow in my position because I was better able to understand the classroom’s inner workings. It showed me how to keep pressing on, even when I felt like quitting. It taught me to be the example I wanted my students to aspire to. Teaching must be something you are willing to do and what is gifted to you. Do it well, and the rewards will be great.
