select an organization that has leveraged Cloud Computing technologies in an attempt to improve profitability or to give them a competitive advantage. Research the organization to understand the challenges that they faced and how they intended to use Cloud Computing to overcome their challenges. The paper should include the following sections each called out with a header.
Company Overview: The section should include the company name, the industry they are in and a general overview of the organization.
Challenges: Discuss the challenges the organization had that limited their profitability and/or competitiveness and how they planned to leverage Cloud Computing to overcome their challenges.
Solution: Describe the organizations Cloud Computing implementation and the benefits they realized from the implementation. What was the result of implementing Cloud Computing? Did they meet their objectives for fall short?
Conclusion: Summarize the most important ideas from the paper and also make recommendations or how they might have achieved even greater success.
The paper must adhere to APA guidelines including Title and Reference pages. There should be at least five scholarly sources listed on the reference page. Company Overview:
Google is an American based multinational company (MNC) came into existence in the year 1998 by Larry Page and Sergey Brin while both were the classmates and Stanford Students. Google corporation is specialised in the internet based services and other products like online search engines, online advertising, software and hardware services, Cloud Computing platform etc. Google is one of the earliest companies to operate their resources entirely over the Cloud Platform and able to enhance the overall productivity of the organization (Challita & Merie, 2018).
Moving to the cloud platform offered the enormous benefits and desirable outcomes for the Google and focused on the quickly working on the competitive benefits. The Google cloud adoption enable the company to utilise all the business resources optimally and provide the solid framework to accomplish the common business goals. Since Google is the earliest company to adopt the cloud platform they also faced huge challenges to address the various concerns and how to control the security issues over the cloud (Challita & Merie, 2018).
Challenges:
In the highly digital business world, organizations of all the sizes heavily relying on the technologies to make the process easy and gain the competitive benefits. Increasing uses of technologies also creating the several challenges for the organizations specially to protect the information from the cyber attackers. Risk and uncertain incidents are unavoidable but taking the right preventive measures can minimise the severity of the incidents and help the organizations to quickly resume the priority operations (Petrillo & Moha, 2017).
Adoption of cloud help the organizations to access the large business networks and ensure to offer the right back up strategies so that organizations can face the uncertain incidents. Google is the early organization who adopted the cloud services and prevent the existing challenges relates to the managing data and face the unplanned incidents. Cloud platform enable the company to quickly restore the data and minimise the downtime for the clients so that they can reduce the impact of uncertain risk on the business (Cabot & Joualt, 2016).
Google taken the below steps to define the foundation of Cloud:
1. Learned the quality and scale of the cloud platform to up skill the technical teams
2. Developed the strong leadership teams
3. Automated the manual process and policies
4. Developed the secure platform to protect all the cloud services
Solution:
Cloud computing operations help the Google in developing the key abilities to learn and control the business activities so that it helps the organizations to gain the competitive benefits and other outcomes. Adoption of cloud minimised the complex workloads for the company and ensure all the resources should be optimally use for the business. Investing the resources into the cloud minimise the greater challenges related to the data storage and also offers the flexibility for all the services without fail (Zhai & Haung, 2016).
Before moving the resources into the cloud platform, Google had planned all the core elements so that they can stay top and mature with the emerging business models. In order to limit the uncertain cost related challenges for the business, they also developed the strategic teams who can takes place all the priority operations for the business. Adoption of cloud helps the Google in analysing the current position of the company and organise the resources in the better platform towards the competitive gains (Zhai & Haung, 2016).
Cloud computing is the best business practice and help the organizations to deals with the current emerging trends and enhances the overall productivity in all the possible ways. After the cloud adoption in the business, Google company able to achieve the business objectives by helping the hundreds of customers to make their ways better towards the cloud adoption. Cloud is capable enough to store all the priority data over the web along with easy accessibility and scalability without any complex challenges (Jianming & Xiaohui, 2016).
Google Corporation able to transformed all the business best practices after the cloud adoption and prevented the complex challenges in the business. Google enable to drive the business towards the innovation after the cloud adoption into the company and focused on the competitive gains. To achieve the long term business goals and minimise the challenges in the uncertain era of the business, it is most important to work on the cloud platform and prevent the challenges which may affects the overall ability of the business. Cloud adoption in the business can add value to the key services and ensure to stay top and innovative in the highly competitive business world (Jianming & Xiaohui, 2016).

Cloud adoption marked the paradigm shift in the IT towards the innovations and development of the business key activities. Google is one of the early organization who taken the strategic business decision to move their resources into the cloud platform. Cloud adoption help the organizations to keep on learning the new business innovations and ensure to stay top. Google planned to leverage the Cloud Computing so that they can prevent the existing challenges and gain the competitive benefits in the modern business world (Challita & Merie, 2018).
