Your Instructions:
Your project should include prioritizing which job titles to address first (choose at least
four job titles), how to perform job analysis on these job titles, how to effectively
recruit, design selection tools (pre-screens, tests, interviews, contingent
assessments, etc.), make offers, place, and retain employees in LCC. There is a
required rough draft in outline form that is worth 40 points due in Module 4, and the final
presentation due in Module 7 will be worth 100 points. The best plan and presentation,
based on the input of your peers and your professor will be awarded a bonus (in this
case, extra points).
Form a team with one or more of your peers. Teams must be a minimum of two and a
maximum of four students. You and your team must decide on the division of labor that
works best for you, but everyone will share the same grade on the project. Your team
final presentation may be a PowerPoint, Prezi, or another audio-visual medium of your
choice. It is not enough to create a slide deck, your team must also give the
presentation, either live (schedule with the professor) or as a recording.
Presentations will be due by 11:59 PM Sunday at the end of Module 7.
Presentations should be concise, but complete. Plan your presentation to take
approximately 15-20 minutes. It is recommended that you rehearse and time yourselves
whether you are submitting a live presentation or recording your final presentation
because that time can go by much faster than you expect.
All students will be required to view all presentations and fill out a confidential evaluation
form on each.
