Baloney is the Best Sandwich Meat in the World, Large Scale Study Finds. By Tom Ato

This is what 250 words look like. This article gave a comprehensive overview of surveys done on how people feel about baloney. It concluded that baloney is the best lunch meat in the world and no other lunch meat beats it. The authors argue that their survey is complete because they surveyed 100 people in the baloney manufacturing town of Baloneyville. I call baloney on this baloney survey. 1) A survey from Baloneyville would obviously be biased and is not a reliable source. 2) A survey of a 100 people from a town whose economy depends on baloney production is a not a reflection of how the rest of the world works. 3) I have found no other sources that make this claim. In fact, the ham association claims ham is the best lunch meat. 4) This survey did not play by the rules of science by making a null hypothesis. Also, it was not a double blind survey, so the researchers personally knew those responding to the survey.
While I did find a survey done by School Lunch Workers of America that supports the Baloneyville survey results, so one could say these results are verified, it is possible that the School Lunch Workers of America is also a biased source due to their interactions with small children and their unrefined palates. The evidence from this research points to a strong bias for baloney, even if the survey results might have shown the opposite. I would recommend further indepth surveys.
