Module 2 Discussion
Need 150 words Initial post and two replies of 60 words each.
Keep in mind that writing is a process. Post one paragraph that reflects upon the writing process you normally use in academic writing, and compare that with the steps you followed in drafting your first writing assignment. Include in your response the steps that you will continue to engage in, as well as those that didnt benefit you.

Normally, I write ideas on paper, rearrange words, check for errors before, rewriting and reading it, aloud, until it makes sense to me. Previously, there was no style of writing intended, however, this request of writing skills and knowledge shows that everyone can become a good writer. After carefully reading the required text, one can only believe, when theres available time to think, the imagination will flow and creativity will form a shape of its own. Ideas become clear, as to what needs to be done and how. Certainly, you must have an audience in mind, be interesting, think of ways to make key points, research accuracy, cite work, be consistent with reading and rewriting, and clarify claim to the reader. At this point demonstrating writing techniques using purpose, subject, clarity, a sensible conclusion of the discussion, and be logical throughout, was ascertain from reading the assigned chapters. One side note that may be favorable as we write, is to have someone read our work to give us honest feedback. In prior writings critially thinking was unimaginable .Since, reviewing the Rogerian argument strategy and moving forward, this approach and guidewill be useful for the summer term, for those who know so little about creative writing.

Writing has always been easy when I can insert myself in the scenario. Whereas, argumentative writing forces you to examine both sides of the issue, which admittedly is not my process. In my first bout with academic writing, I did reasonably well, but I did not stick to the process. I found my method of writing the task down and drafting an outline and slowly building my essay effective. Unfortunately, earlier in my education, I was taught directly addressing the reader, and asking a question was a great way to capture your audience. However, I quickly learned that it was not an effective writing tactic in academic writing. When embarking on the first writing assignment for this class, I did something I have never done; I jotted down the task and started to free write. Without researching, I weighed both arguments’ pros and cons and chose the claim I thought was strongest. After researching and gathering evidence to strengthen my claim, I realized that it was not the best method. Once I evaluated all the facts, my initial opinion changed, and I understood why the research was valuable and crucial to this style of writing. Argumentative writing is definitely not in my comfort zone, so I was forced to follow the steps, but by doing so, I was able to find a process that worked for me.
