Students will act as independent training consultants. The consultants have been contacted by one of their regular clients, a 4-star European hotel chain to design and conduct a training initiative for their 20 junior managers on a particular topic. An extensive training needs analysis has already been carried out and the topic identified is considered to be a key training and development priority for 2019. The initiative will have the full support of senior management. Subject to Board approval, the client would like to be able to roll out the initiative from March 2019 onwards. They would like the consultants to pilot a micro training session and to prepare a report for the management team. The assumption is that the client has the facilities to host a face-to-face event in one of its properties. Video conferencing systems and computer rooms are also available.
